This past month a very generous couple was thinking about what to do with their vehicle. Their kids were grown and off at college and they didn't have much use for a third vehicle. Rather than sell or trade in the vehicle, this couple decided their car should be put to good use. They donated their vehicle to Family Promise.
Two weeks ago, we transferred their vehicle to Sherman. Sherman graduated from our Hospitality Network last May. Since exiting our program, Sherman has done great, maintaining his housing and employment.
The generous couple wanted their vehicle to be put to good use, and it will. Sherman plans on using the vehicle to get to work, appointments and picking his children up from school.
