Please join us in welcoming Wendell to the Family Promise team! Serving as our Director of Family Services, Wendell will directly oversee our Case Management Staff and homelessness services. Wendell will work with Case Managers to ensure every family we serve secures permanent housing.

Wendell most recently worked at the Salvation Army in Syracuse New York from 2010 - 2020, as the Program Manager for Permanency Initiatives. Wendell earned his Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Cazenovia College and a Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University.

Wendell possesses a strong background in Functional Family Therapy. This experience will enable Wendell to imbue our services with a more behavioral/mental health approach, strengthening our case management overall and improving our ability to quickly house families.
