Thank you everyone who participated and helped make this year's Virtual Highmark Walk a fantastic success! Thanks to your support, we had 15 walk teams and over 100 walkers!

Even though we couldn't walk together this year in support of Family Promise, we were all still able to come together separately in support of our mission to end family homelessness.

Thanks to our wonderful community's support, we were able to raise over $18,000!!

Donations received will be used to keep families in housing  – a missed rent payment, being evicted? Our Diversion Program can cover that payment and keep a family in housing. Already evicted, nowhere to go? We provide emergency shelter and rapid re-housing support to quickly help families get back up on their feet. Our goal is to keep as many families housed as possible during this crisis.

COVID19 is still generally affecting our operations, however we've adapted to ensure we remain effective in ending family homelessness. In light of the current situation, we have partnered with local jurisdictions, in an effort to serve families experiencing homelessness, where the greatest need currently is. We're doing everything we can to serve every family experiencing homelessness in Delaware.

Felicia, our Hospitality Network Case Manager, has dedicated a substantial portion of her time to serving families currently residing in motels. Many local jurisdictions placed families experiencing homelessness into motels at the onset of COVID19. We're working to ensure none of them return to homelessness.

Rasheena our Pathway to Housing Case Manager, is dedicating her entire case management capacity to rapidly re-housing as many families staying in motels to permanent housing as possible. She's doing a great job, as she just housed a family this past Monday!

Lori, our Hospitality Center Case Manager hasn't missed a beat as the Center has remained open since the pandemic began. Our static shelter remains a powerfully effective homelessness intervention, as Lori recently assisted two families secure permanent housing!

Capri, our Pathway to Diversion Case Manager continues to ensure families in need from the Colonial School District are rapidly re-housed and is tirelessly diverting families in need from shelter altogether, by helping them secure permanent housing in under 14 days! Capri began serving two more families this past week!
