It might not seem to be the case on the surface, but easy access to washers/dryers is a necessary component to any successful shelter. Free use of washers/dryers ensures our families have access to clean clothes. Clean clothes ensures our families are looking their best at school, their jobs, interviews, and in addition just makes our families feel better.

At Family Promise we have four washers, and four dryers for families to use. With age, our washers/dryers have become a little less reliable over the years. Fortunately, the Crestlea Foundation provided us a grant to replace all of our washers/dryers with brand new industrial grade washers!

March 2020 marks the one year anniversary of the start of the COVID19 pandemic. COVID19 has now effected every facet of our organization for more than a year now. With vaccines rolling out across the nation, it appears that we're beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Family Promise NNCC is taking one large leap next Wednesday towards getting back to normal, as our staff will be receiving the first dose of a COVID19 vaccination at the Hope Center! We're incredibly excited to being one step closer to normal!

At our Annual Celebration, we discussed our successes, challenges, program pivots, program performance, and our financials from 2020, in addition to a roadmap of where we’re going in 2021. We also discussed our involvement in the Hope Center, Project Hope, and alternative forms of shelter we're pursuing as a medium term alternative to our traditional Hospitality Network.

If you weren't able to make it, you can watch a recording of our meeting below!
